Yippee ki yay

I’m in LA right now.  Just got back from watching Live Free or Die Hard, which was way better than I expected.  It’s totally over-the-top and doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is why it was so fun.  Best action film I’ve seen in a while.  Bruce Willis does a great job of playing weary hero John McClain for the fourth time.  Justin Long is hilarious as a nerdy hacker that John McClain has to protect from the bad guys.  Justin Long is totally underrated, btw.  I think he’s a gifted comedian and he makes me want to switch to a Mac!   The movie also had a ton of crazy action scenes, including a car vs. helicoper scene and a truck vs. fighter jet scene.  But what really stood out for me was that the dialogue was so funny.  Even the bad guy had some snarky one-liners.  It was extremely entertaining.  People in the theatre were cheering during parts of the film, and everyone applauded at the end.  Go see it!
