The girl with Spike is Julia, his girlfriend, and the military guy is a soldier from a movie caled Jin Ro - The Wolf Brigade.
According to the AAP, kids in the United States see 40,000 commercials each year. 10 year old girls love dolls, there may be a few exceptions but generally every girl loves a doll. Of course, remember to choose age-appropriate toys.
