A bunch of friends & I are having a fitness bet to motivate ourselves to lose weight / gain muscle / become healthier / etc. The first person to reach their personal goal wins a Playstation 3 that all the losers have to pay for.
My goal is to drop 7lb and reach 108lb. I’m 5′5 and currently weigh 115lb. I have no muscles.
Anyone who knows me well knows I’m not a healthy person. I never exercise. I love fatty, oily, rich foods, like cheese, chocolate and foie gras. I actually have a problem with my vision that’s caused by eating too much oily food.
But I love competitive bets! I once ate 10 hamburgers in order to win a bet. It was gross but I was still pretty proud that I won.
PS3, here I come!

I like how the prize is a PS3…which will end up being used communally anyway…
Though I am a bit curious as to what everyone’s personal fitness goals are…though I think goals like: run a mile every day, or even lower my BMI are a lot better than plain weight loss (and IMHO, for your height and build, getting closer to 100lbs is NOT a good idea…)

hey, so, if you’re trying to replace fat with muscle mass, you might not be able to lose 7 pounds since muscle is heavier than fat. not that i believe you have any fat. maybe the goals are conflicting? oh well, don’t listen to me. :)

also, wont the ps3, in theory, if properly used, convert theoretical someone’s ass back on a seat, which was the problem in the first place?

i’ve got a handcycle that you can take up the flomo hill for a month or two.
that’s not good for DROPPING pounds, though.
good luck :) you know, i recently got another bike (standard recumbent, very comfy!), been riding that around a bit. i highly recommend it if you’re looking for a way to get in shape. not much more expensive than a PS3, either…
you can drop 7 through dehydration, but i do not recommend it, as i don’t think a PS3 is worth the risk =P not unless you’re used to doing crazy things like that anyway…
